Bonacio Construction Inc. is one of the Saratoga area's largest builder/developers. Projects include commercial construction, new residential construction and adaptive re-use. The company is led by Sonny Bonacio
Now a well-known name in Saratoga construction, Sonny Bonacio started out in the industry at age 12, pushing a broom for his uncle who was in construction. He has been in construction ever since, working regularly in the field since he was 16. His toughest business decision was taking off on his own in 1988 and starting Bonacio Construction. Now, he is doing medical buildings, offices, condominium projects, large renovations and single-family homes. The company has amassed a long list of accomplishments including Longfellows Inn, the Van Raalte Mills conversion, the Roohan Building offices, Putnam Market, rehabbing nine mansions on North Broadway, and the residential and commercial condos in Franklin Square phases 2, 3 and 4, and most recently at 18 Division Street.
