The annual Turning Point Festival & Parade is a "Signature" event for the Greater Saratoga Region. The First weekend every August is the one to plan to spend in Schuylerville.
Events start in Fort Hardy Park on Saturday at noon, with rices, vendors and great food, water ski show on the River, hot air baloon rides, live music and street dance in the evening. Sunday the annual parade steps off at 1:00 PM, with marching bands, antique cars, many colorful displays and floats. Events resume in the park right after the parade, ending with a live concert and fireworks display.
