Schuylerville's own Rotary Club meets on Wednesday mornings at 7:30 at General Schuyler's Pantry. No reservations needed for breakfast. Visitors and visiting Rotarians are always welcome
Founded in 1905, Rotary is the world's first volunteer service organization. Club members are proficient leaders who volunteer in their communities and promote world understanding and peace. Rotary clubs encourage high ethical standards and carry out humanitarian projects to address such issues as poverty, health, hunger, education and the environment. Clubs meet weekly for fellowship to discuss local and global topics and they are nonreligious, nongovernmental, and open to every race, culture and creed.
